... the refinancing of our home loan coming through
... refreshing lemon sorbet as I write
... an air conditioned bedroom and a doona to snuggle under
... a night out with the love of my life, that didn't cost us an arm and a leg
... running
... knowing it doesn't actually matter how fast I run, just as long as I get out there and run
... beautiful kind words from friends when I need them most, especially when they come as a surprise in the mail with chocolate attached
... a listening ear when I wanted to moan and feel sorry for myself
... peace and quiet at the end of the night
... having the money to buy the medicine I need
... not having to go to the dentist this week, or next
... a husband that knows how to cook a mean roast beef
I share a few of those gratefuls. When I realised this fortnight that I needed to buy 4 scripts for medications I was so grateful that I am able to cut back in some places to make it work.
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for a few listening ears at the moment as I process everything that is going on. Having people there to support you through anything is the best x
ReplyDeleteYep I can be thankful for one or two of them.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have someone to listen to you...
I have no best friend or close person to share the crap with...
Great list and lovely way to do it! I am thankful for my husband being so brave - right now he's just had to whip up to A&E to get concrete dust scrapped off his eye, I'm thankful it's not worse :(
ReplyDeleteLemon sorbet and air con sounds pretty good to me!
